A safe sheet metal workshop is our priority here at WDIS. We focus on the health and safety of all personnel . First of all, WDIS commits to providing the highest possible level of health, safety and quality (HSEQ) across our business. As WDIS develops as a business we are continuously improving our systems and processes. We aim to incorporate the world’s best safety techniques to complete our day to day activities. As a result, this enables us to implement systems for new operations and capabilities.

- Take 5 – WDIS employees have a Take 5 application on their phone. An email is sent by to the office when a Take 5 is completed. We compile these and review them daily. We encourage staff to do one as a new activities commences because it refreshes their safety awareness at every task.
- Job Hazard Analysis – JHA is the process of identifying the steps to complete a job safely, identifying hazards that pose a risk to performing jobs and also establishes safe methods to overcome and manage hazards that may be present. WDIS employees complete a JHA when they start a new job and when they finish, sign it and return it to the office for administration purposes.
- Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Management Plan – The development of WDIS’s HSEQ Plan was to provide the over-arching framework for all health, safety, environment and quality issues. The HSEQ management plan details how to reduce risks associated with poor health, safety, environment and quality performance. Above all, it provides the structure for developing, managing and reporting issues on a continuous improvement basis.
